HELP NEEDED AT LOPEZ MATEOS--CAN LAND AT PAVED STRIP AT CONSTITUCION OR LOPEZ MATEOS. This is a follow-up to an earlier post by Alicia from Lopez Mateos. I talked with Alicia (who is a pilot, BBP member, with Flying Sams and lives in Lopez Mateos) and they need help, have only received small group of boxes from Cruz Roja. I've passed this info on to Claudia (who knows Alicia from past efforts together) but am also re-posting here for any pilots who can help out quickly. She is trying to re-post here, but when we just spoke, they were busy helping someone who just fell trying to fix his roof and needed 1st Aid. Alicia's earlier post gave an update on the strip at Lopez Mateos, but Alicia has a large bus and is willing to drive to Constitucion for anyone who prefers the paved runway there. If you can get some supplies to Lopez or Constitucion, please contact them directly (don't just drop stuff, make sure Flying Sams is picking it up to ensure proper distribution to those in need).
